Cautions when using:

Maintenance: TDS/PPM electrodes can develop nutrient buildup over time. To minimize buildup, always rinse the probe under clean tap or DI water after each use.

TDS to EC Conversion: The Milwaukee TDS Pen, like all TDS meters, provides a measurement of Total Dissolved Solids (ppm) of contaminants per unit volume in a solution.

TDS/PPM is often converted to uS/cm. Different scales include 500 scale, 650 scale and 700 scale.

Your TDS/PPM readings can be roughly converted to uS/cm as shown in the examples below.

1 ppm = 2 uS/cm on 0.5 factor scale

1 ppm = 1.43 µS/cm on 442 scale or 0.70 factor scale
